Pearl Harbor

Oahu, Hawaii, USA, December 14, 2014, Pearl Harbor is a US Navy deep-water naval base on Oahu, Hawaii, famous as the site of the surprise Imperial Japanese Navy attack on December 7, 1941. The assault destroyed/damaged 19 US ships, including 8 battleships, and killed over 2,400 people, prompting the U.S. to enter World War II. It now serves as a major national memorial.
